20 Nov Consultants to choose between three proposals for a new Laugardalsvöllur stadium
A press conference on the construction of a new national football stadium was held at KSÍ headquarters on the 19th of October. At the conference, Yrki architects´ proposal for a new stadium commissioned by the City of Reykjavík was presented.
Furthermore, it was announced that the Icelandic football union KSÍ and the City Council of Reykjavík wish to collaborate with the Icelandic state in this matter. Prime Minister Bjarni Benediktsson and mayor Dagur B. Eggertsson were present at the press conference.
