A PLANNING COMPETITION FOR SUÐURNESJABÆR
About: Yrki architects´ proposal in an invited planning competition for the newly founded municipality of Suðurnesjabær on the Reykjanes peninsula. The aim of the competition was to generate ideas for a masterplan for the former municipalities of Garður and Sandgerði that have recently been united in the new municipality of Suðurnesjabær. Yrki architects´proposal was one of three that were admitted to the semi-finals of the competition.
