About: In 2003, Yrki architects won the 1st prize in an invited competition for a nursing home, apartments and a service center for senior citizens in Mörkin, Reykjavík. The project was built in three stages. The residential complex with 78 apartments was completed in 2007 and the nursing home for 113 residents in 2010. The service center, offering a.o. an indoor swimming pool and spa, opened its doors in 2019.
