C40 is a network of mayors of nearly 100 world-leading cities collaborating to deliver the urgent action needed right now to confront the climate crisis. The project is to build a spa and restaurant on the old pier and an apartment building nearby, with a kindergarden, greenhouses and a food store selling organic produce. All building materials will be responsibly sourced, with a considerable percentage of recycled materials.
